そうですね SO-DE-SU-NE

チャイニーズの友だちが言いました。

友だち「『ソウデスネ』。これって、日本語でどういう意味？」

ぼく「『Yes（イエス）』っていう意味だよ」

けれど、ある日、ぼくは考えました。
「ソウデスネ」は、次のようには使わないような気がしました。

Aさん「あなたは日本人ですか？」

Bさん「ソウデスネ」

こういう場合、ぼくたち（Bさん）は「Yes」とは言うけれど、「ソウデスネ」とは言わないでしょう。
ほかの日に、ぼくは、その友だちに言いました。

ぼく「たぶん、『ソウデスネ』の意味のひとつは、『I think so（わたしはそう思う）』だと思う。たとえば……、『彼はいい人だね』『ソウデスネ』」

それから、「ソウデスネ」はときどき、「Let me see,,,（え〜っと……）」にも「That's right！（そのとおり！）」にもなれるような気がしました。
まもなく、友だちが中国へ帰ることになりました。

友だち「また会おう！」

ぼく「ソウデスネ！」
A Chinese freiend said,

""SO-DE-SU-NE", what does it mean in Japanese? ".

I replied,

"it means "YES"".

However, one day, I thought about this word.

I thought "SO-DE-SU-NE" is not used as follows.

Person A : "Are you a Japanese ?"

Person B : "SO-DE-SU-NE"

In this case, I (Person B) can use "YES", but won't use "SO-DE-SU-NE".

The other day, I said to the friend,

"Maybe, one meaning of "SO-DE-SU-NE" is "I THINK SO". For example..., "He is a good man" "SO-DE-SU-NE"".

Then, I thought that "SO-DE-SU-NE" can sometimes become "LET ME SEE,,," or "THAT'S RIGHT!".

Before long, the friend would go back to China.

The friend : "See you, again!"

I : "SO-DE-SU-NE!".
