港町 Port Town

かつて多くの日系の人々が住んだという港町を訪れると、たくさんの桜が咲いていた。以前に訪れたハワイにある、日系の名残りをとどめた静かな港町を思い出した。ハワイにも、「紫の桜」と呼ばれる、ジャカランダの樹がある。「グッド・ラック、ブラザー！」。私があの町を去る時に、ハワイ生まれの日系のおじいさんがくれた言葉である。

When I visited the port town that people of the Japanese lived a lot in long time ago, many cherry blossoms were in blossom.
A quiet port town of having remains of the Japanese in Hawaii that I have visited was recalled.
Also in Hawaii, there is a tree of the Jacaranda of been called, "Purple cherry blossoms".
"Good luck, brother !".
It is a word that the elderly man of the Japanese in the Hawaii by birth gave when I left that town.
