ジャパニーズ・バス Japanese Bus

Ｓ氏「ヒロシ、ジャパニーズ・バスが来たよ」。私「なぜ、あれがジャパニーズ・バスなのですか？　車体に黄色が入っているからですか？」。Ｓ氏「いや、違う。『ＳＯＲＲＹ』『ＳＯＲＲＹ』とばかり言っているからだ」。バンクーバーにお住まいの方はご存知のように、お客さんを乗せられないバスの行き先表示には、「ＳＯＲＲＹ」という文字が繰り返し出ます。

Mr. S : "Hiroshi, the Japanese bus is coming".
Me : "Why is that the Japanese bus ? Is it because there is yellow color in the body ?".
Mr. S : "No, it isn't. Because that says just "SORRY" "SORRY"".
As people who live in Vancouver know, the direction display of the bus which can't accept passengers repeatedly says "SORRY".
